![]() ![]() The other mentioned modules are unknown to me. The firmware is interchangeable due to the Daisy board and at least the Imitor Versio is a clocked delay -> # You could also take a look at the Noise Engineering Versio platform (the excellent Desmodus Versio is in my rack). # Alright Devices Chronoblob 2 can be tested for free in VCV rack -> # 4ms DLD is a very nice and clean dual/stereo delay (it is in my rack ). By default it is mapped to the 'L' button. Typically you would map this to a button push, or a MIDI event. The 'Tap tempo' parameter allows for a tap tempo function. The Ex seems to support tap over Midi for at least Augustus Loop (I don't own it, from the manual): # There is also the Expert Sleepers Disting MK4 / Disting Ex with clockable algorithm. "Delay Ping-Pong Sync", "Delay Clock Sync", "Delay Tap Sync": The Mimeo and Sarajewo are much more focused. Electus Versio probably comes in second as far as variety of different things you can get out of it. In terms of most effects packed into a module the Typhoon wins - it's a little jack of all trades master of none perhaps, but it's good for a lot. * Typhoon (Clouds) with super parasites firmware - granular sampling, pitch shifting, clocked delay, reverb, spectral processor, resonator, and beat repeater. * Mimeophon - great digital clock synced stereo delay with reverb-y kind of effects with the halo control Stereo. Mono input but multiple outputs for all kinds of stereo when using it with a mixer. * Sarajewo - as mentioned earlier in the thread, great analog BBD delay with clock sync. Does all kinds of interesting sounds between clock synced reverbs and delays. DV doesn't have clock sync, but EV does and is super nice. ![]() ![]() * Desmodus Versio, but with the Electus Versio firmware.
